GST is applicable state wise. here is my query:
Am in Logistics & Supply Chain Industry:
Our customer is in Tada ( in Andhra State). All their shipments are executed thru Krishnapatnam port ( Andhra State).
Billing done by Chennai office .
Should I follow which state gst provisional I'd to customer. that is Tamilnadu State provisional id or Andhra state id.
kindly clarify in brief.

First tell me you have one registration or two registration in both states
our registrations are state wise
From my point of view location of supplier is Chennai and place of supply is tada so TN provisional ID should be used
nope, location of supplier is in TADA, billing is in Chennai. Kindly advice

Hi, the situation is.quoted for logistic industry. we don't have any office in Tada and Tada is near to Chennai hence billing take place in Chennai. and this is the real situvation
The GST is applicable on nation wide basis, so the registration must be done in every state where the business is operating. Also there is no separate provisonal ID to different state, i.e. there is a single ID on which the entity operates.
