But recently one of my client has received a Demand Notice to pay Rs. 5000( As his Income is greater than Rs. 5 Lakhs)(Rs. 5000 is Fee u/s 234F)
Original return has been filed on 31/08/2019 and later on revised on 08/09/2019.
As on revised return 234F is not applicable. Can you please clarify, why he has received Demand Notice of Rs. 5000?

So, the revised return is treated as original, and hence late fees are liable...

Sir,
(a) Whether Original return has to be e verifed before due date i.e., 31/08/2019 or before date of completion of processing?
(b) What if I e verify the Original return now and submit a rectification request to reprocess the return?
