Applicability of pf & esic

Hey guys,

I run a health club under a proprietorship concern. My staff strength is 12 out of which 3 person draw salary more than 15000 and all draw salary above Rs 6500/-.

 

1. Am I under the purview of ESIC as I have read that it is applicable only to factories having some sort of manufacturing

2. Am I under the purview of PF as well as the strength is below 20 ?

3.  What is the strength required for coming under ESIC and PF. I have read somewhere it is 10 and somewhere it is 20

for ESIC your establishment is covered, its only manpower requirement Ten or above

contributory or not is a different chapter, but for mancount the employees drawing more than 15000 + is also taken for coverage purpose 

for EPF you are not covered, but if you wish to contribute you can get voluntary coverage

There's no requirement to cover your firm into EPFO Bcz employment strength is less than 20 but you have to cover your firm under Esic Act asap
