Applicability of new syllabus of ca final

My CA final attempt is in May'16
I want to confirm whether the new syllabus introduced by ICAI recently is mandatory for May'16 attempt or it is optional.

There are no clear cut directions until now.. so its good to wait a while more for such things
Wait until official notification is issued by ICAI
Not yet to worry, continue with existing syllabus and complete the exam, if the case introduced also they provide cutoff date for applicability of new syllabus.
