Applicability of new form 16 : Which year

If it is for the financial year 2009-2010, then while filing income tax return for the financial year 2008-09 [ Assessment year 2009-10 ], we are called upon to submit information as to UTN NO. AFTER TAN NO IN SCHEDUE TDS 1 IN ITR FORMS . How will we be able to fille up this information from the old form 16 ? This information is available in new form 16 and not in the old form 16.

these provisions are applicable from FY 2009-2010 i. e TDS deducted on or after 01.04.2009

however there is nothing mentioned in the incometax provision that it is applicable from the year 2009-10 (like the clarification provided for form 17)
