Dear Sirs,
My friend is attached with a Co-operative Society. The only job / main function of the Society is to collect vehicle parking fees from specified city streets of Kolkata under License from Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC)'. From the collection, they pay "License Fees “ to KMC and defray other administrative expenses. At present they are not subject to SERVICE TAX .
My query :
(1) Whether GST will be applicable to them
(2) Whether they need to get registration under GST
(3) Any other Liability
