As per the provisions of Section 186 of the Companies Act 2013, a Company including both public and private Company shall make investment through more than 2 layers of investment Company.
Investment Company means the Company who has principal business of acquisition of shares, debentures and other securities.
Howeever the aforesaid clause shall not be applicable if subsidiary Company has investment subsidiaries for meeting the requirement of the law.
