The Companies Act, 2013 mandatorily requires companies to draft articles in the forms specified in tables as may be applicable according to their type.

However, it is upto the choice of the company to adopt all or any of the regulations contained the model articles(Tables).

Further the act requires registeted aricles to be consistent with model articles(Tables) otherwise they shall be void.

These above-mentioned provisions are applicable on companies registered under ca 2013.

The Companies registered under previous companies act need not comply with above provisions if they have not amended their articles as per the new act.
