Yes,

If a LLP was incorporated on or after 1st October of a financial year, then the LLP can close its first financial year either on the coming or next 31st March.

We have incorporated a LLP (Date of Incorporation 6th July 2015) and have got our TIN No. & PTEC No. today (07/10/2015), but effective 30/09/2015. We would want to understand what all compliance we need to take care of to make sure we are not on the wrong side of the law.

No transaction (of sale & purchase) has taken place.
