Annual aggregate turnover for composition dealer

I am a composition dealer, on the dashboard its written that annual aggregate turnover is upto rs.5 crore.

my question is that what is the importance of this, since we are already filing returns quarterly. and limit given to composition dealer is only 1.50 crores.

this should be shown to only regular tax payers so that they can choose between monthly or quarterly return filing.

Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the meaning of the 'annual aggregate turnover' figure displayed for composition dealers. While composition dealers have a specific turnover limit (Rs. 1.5 crore), the Rs. 5 crore figure relates to a different scheme and doesn't directly impact their quarterly filing. It's important to note that this Rs. 5 crore limit is for regular taxpayers who can choose between monthly or quarterly returns. Composition dealers cannot opt into this new scheme, though those switching from composition to regular tax can.

Yes you are correct, the new scheme is not applicable to Composition Dealer , but one who like to switch from composition to regular can opt the new return filing scheme accordingly.
