Sir/ Madam ,
For Andromeda Agents income , Can we decalre above income under 44ADA or 44AD, or any other heads
Let's explore the options for declaring income from Andromeda Agents under various presumptive taxation sections:
Presumptive Taxation Sections -
*Section 44AD*: This section applies to businesses (other than an eligible assessee) with a turnover up to ₹2 crores. It allows a deemed profit of 8% or 6% (depending on the payment method) of the total turnover. -
*Section 44ADA*: This section applies to professionals with a turnover up to ₹50 lakhs. It allows a deemed profit of 50% of the total receipts. Applicability to Andromeda Agents -
*Nature of Business*: Andromeda Agents' business nature would determine the applicability of these sections. If it's a business (not a profession), Section 44AD might be more relevant. -
*Turnover*: If the turnover is within the specified limits, these sections could be applicable. Other Options -
*Regular Books of Accounts*: If the business doesn't fit into the presumptive taxation sections or prefers not to use them, regular books of accounts can be maintained to calculate the taxable income. Recommendations -
- *Review Business Nature and Turnover*: Verify the business nature and turnover to decide between Section 44AD, Section 44ADA, or regular books of accounts.
