| Students are hereby informed that the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, having due regard to the concerns of students belonging to Final (Old) stream, has decided to extend the Final (Old) Examination by two more attempts namely May, 2010 and November, 2010 |
| Students concerned may note that the Council has made it clear that no further extension will be granted under any circumstances. |

God helps those who helps themselves...This announcement is the best proof.
I had cleared CA Inter long time ago...But could not clear my finals due to some personal reasons.....I kept appearing Final exams every year, every attempt....just to keep the hope alive that someday I will be a CA.
Now, Imagine...I have just taken a 6 months complete break from work since this Diwali to appear for finals in May 2010 and today Institute makes this announcement that old syllabus attempt have been extended till 2010.
Guys, there is hope for people who keeps their dream alive. So get going....
