Dear young lady,
Most of the girl students are proving to be good chartered accountants with their hard work and dedication. If you want work hard nothing but work hard with Arjuna like devotion you can just jump into this profession and if you are easy going and do not want wark hard or take the subjects seriously, just forget about this course. No matter how intellegent you are and however your graduation marks might be, do not bank on the past laurels, wihout hard work you can not achieve the success in this course. Very often the failure cripple even strong willed students. Bright B.Coms without hard work lose with 49% marks and average B.Coms with hard work scrape through with 50% and laught at the bright students.This is what I have realised after so many attempts before enjoying the success.

NO DOUBT CA HAS GOT A BEATING FROM MBAs AND LAWYERS (5 YRS FROM NATIONAL SCHOOL OF LAWS). STILL JOBS ARE GOOD IN CA IF YOU DO NOT SELECT ACCOUNTS AS YOUR LINE. THERE ARE MANY NEW AREAS FOR CA, WHICH ARE REWARDING IN JOBS e.g. BPO, RESEARCH IN EQUITY, MERGERS etc. CONVENTIONAL ACCOUNTS HAS WEAK PROSPECTUS.

I THINK YOU SHOULD DECIDE WHAT ARE YOUR CAREER PLANS AFTER CA LIKE JOB OR PRACTICE. PRACTICE FOR GIRLS IS NOT ADVISABLE. JOBS ARE OK. YOUR TEACHERS ARE CORRECT CA IS VERY TOUGH AND UNCERTAIN AND JOBS ARE NOT BETTER THAN MBAs, WHEREAS PASSING CA IS TOUGHER THAN ANY OTHER COURSE.

hi i am ca but i till interest in competitive exam but same time i require financial support what can id ? my interest in upsc or state level exam my age is 26 years

my name is vardan , and working as GM at a resort nr vapi at umbergaon. can yhou please suggest me the new servicee tax will be applicable on  ROOMS, REST, BANQUET.this will be applicable from april 1st or after the legislation is passed at parliament .

Follow your heart anjali. If you are interestrd in the course go ahead and do it. Status of ca might not be like before but a good ca gets a good package and a good post in top organisations.

Mr. Varadan. Service tax rate change is not applicable from 1st april but only after the legislation will be passed. Once we are notified said chanhges will be applicable. Till then use 12.36 percent
