An additionl qualification-does it really add value

From quite a few years it is being observed that many CA students are opting for additional qualifications like CS,CMA,CFA etc., I wonder is it really useful."The CA qualification" Isnt it sufficient to fetch us a good career.In the era of specialisation where even under one area of work there are many specialisations,adding extra qualification will it actually add enhancement to our career or Just another 2 or 3 letter word before our name.For example a CA already has many areas to work in like Service tax,VAT,Transfer pricing etc.If he also pursues CS he will one more set of work areas,leaving him with knowledge in all but mastery in none.So is it worth taking an additional qualication or taking specialisation in area of interest after Completing CA????? I Would like the experienced members of CCI to share their views on this.... Did an additional qualification Actually helped them in career growth.
