A company say ABC Pvt. Ltd. is carrying on CyberCafe business in the State of West Bengal. It is currently liable to Amusement Tax. Now, the company wants to enter into a new business with the same infrastructure, along with the CyberCafe as the secondary business for a temporary period. Will it be liable to pay Amusement Tax in the second case?

I want to open a Computer Hardware and Networking institute in Kolkata. The trade license departmnet inspected the institute and told me that i have to pay Rupees 6,000 per year as Amusement tax for 6 computers in 140 Square feet area. But i am running a computer educational institute there is one bsnl broadband internet connection. But its not for the business its for my personal purposes. I dont want to use this internet connection for my business.
Please give me the necessary information about amusement tax for Computer educational institute.
