Whether I have to deposit entire sale proceeds of LTCA or only capital gain portion under CGAS, to avail full benefit, for the time being.

it depends upon the section under which you are claiming deduction. for 54f you have to invest entire net sale consideration in the new asset to claim deduction of cg
