Hi, my elder brother has started his job under MP state govt 2 years back. His employer deduct from his salary for for NPS but since NPS account opening is pending from employer side, deducted sum is not getting deposited in NPS ACCOUNT. I want to know if he can claim for tax deduction for the amount deducted from salary for NPS??

Technically you cant
since its not your fault you may claim deduction if you are ready for litigation.
