Amendment in core field

I think deemed approval will happened in seven days but system may not send certificate

On filing the application for change in business name, the GST Officer is required to verify the application and approve the amendment to the business name within 15 working days in FORM GST REG-15. On approval, the amendment would take effect from the date of occurrence of the event warranting the amendment

Also I face the same problem in some of GSTIN. They are not approved. It's showing as "Pending for Processing / Verification".

The process of Approval from gst department is too slow.

While carrying out the process of amendment in the Principal Place of Business  (i.e.change of address ), the user has to enter details in a mandatory field - "Date of Amendment". Once you receive the approval of the proper officer, the effective date should ideally be the date of amendment entered by you.

Just to update you Guys, Today i have downloaded amended GST regn cert and it mentions date of issue of certificate as 21/06/2018.

 

i have applied for address change on 3rd July and still didn't get reply. I am getting worried about this. what should i do

I got my core field amendment approved after 22 days. SO i would sugest to wait. I went to the GST office and they told its all automatic , they can do anything also.

 

The Track shows that the core fields are amended successfully but when i download the REG 16 it still shows the old details. 

I donno how long it will take to reflect in REG16.

Hi Anil....how much time taken to get approval for amendment in your case. I didn't get any approval yet even after 15 days.

It may take 15-30 days.

Hi Swati, you need not worry about this at all. I was also worried the same way as you are. The rule is that you have to wait for 15 working days, exclude Saturday and Sunday, and public holidays. Also it doesn't include the day on which you applied. So you have to wait for the same period. When the period is over, you will get auto approval mail from gst portal. It seems that mostly gst officers don't pay interest in approving such application on their own. They are more dependent on auto approval system

My application is still showing for Trade Name Change shows " Pending for Approval" although date to completion was 25.06.2019 which has expired yesterday. What to do for change to be effective. As bank has mentioned that they would change Trade name once fresh registration certificate is submitted

Kindly let me know how to proceed from here
