Amendment in Core field

Actually when I want to amend one of the core field(i.e at the time of migration nature of Business is opted as Retail but whereas actual business is done by both Retail & Wholesale).I have received mail as error in Legal Name(i.e mismatch in Pan details) but it is (Legal Name) same as at the time of migration.so even if I want to change the name it is asking date of amendment as in fact there is no such change.please solve the query as soon as possible.
