AIS not able to access

I am not able to access AIS from IT wrbsite.

Is there a problem with the site?

Are you trying to download from outside India?

AIS/TIS server is now firewalled to prevent access from outside India.

You can ask someone trustworthy in India to download and email the files to you. The files are password protected so not everyone would be able to peek into your confidential data.

Is it a new introduction? In 2022, I was able to access AIS from Melbourne but not now.

I also have been trying. Tried all techniques including VPN but failed. But recently some one from Singapore stated that he is able to access. Probably only NRI's may be able to access.

Ais/Tis server has been firewalled recently after the Op Sindoor .

But the I-T e-filing server is not firewalled.

26-AS server also firewalled.

You all find out from those who succeeded in downloading Ais Tis and 26-AS , how they managed and post it here for helping all members

But the I-T e-filing server is not firewalled.

26-AS server also firewalled.

You all find out from those who succeeded in downloading Ais Tis and 26-AS , how they managed and post it here for helping all members

Good morning.

Thanks for your feedback.

I think, the AIS/TIS site is inaccessible from outside India, due to firewalling of the server.

Those who highlighted their inability to download must be NRIs trying to download from outside India.

TIN server ( for 26-AS download) has been firewalled since 2022, I was told.

I am trying to access it from a place outside India.

I will tell my Relative from India to download and send it to me.

26 AS you can get from outside India if you separately register as NRI.

I am able to get it even now.

I think same facility could be given to NRIs for AIS

I have been informed that the TIN web page does not open from outside India due to firewalling , so how would one log-in to indicate he is NRI and download 26AS ?

If a site is firewalled, the web page would not open.

Then no way to log in and indicate whether one is NRI or Resident.

Plz find out from your friend in Singapore, how he managed to open the web page of AIS, TIS .

Also, how he opened web page of TIN for getting 26AS.

Those information would help all.

Sir,

I had registered as NRI more than 6-7 years back in the first year I became NRi.

.so after login, when I click on view 26 AS, i am taken to a separate website where I have to again login and request for 26 AS that I get it within a few hours or sometumes next day.

This procedure, I have been following for last several years. I could also get 26AS just 2 days back for AY 2025-26.

Only AIS is the problem.
