Unlike the previous years the Annual Information Return section seems to be missing in the latest ITR forms for AY 2011-12, do you know the reasons? We don't have to give that information this time or it has to be declared in some other forms etc?

we don't have to provide AIR in any other form...Income tax deptt. has done away with the reqn. of AIR in ITR forms...as they get the information of high value transactions from various other sources...so now we don't have to provide the same information again in ITR forms.
which ITR i use ? i have salary income with capital gain in share and mutual fund
you have to file form 2 for salary income and capital gain
