AICTSS-Eligiblility

AICITSS (Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills) is mandatory under the new CA curriculum (post-2020 restructuring). Here are the key details:

1. Components: AICITSS has two parts:
- Advanced IT Course (56 hours)
- Management and Communication Skills (MCS) Course (40 hours)

2. Eligibility to Register for AICITSS:
- Must have completed CA Intermediate examination (both groups cleared)
- Must be in the last 2 years of articleship

3. When to Complete:
- AICITSS must be completed AFTER passing CA Intermediate and BEFORE appearing for CA Final exams
- Specifically: Both components must be completed before the last day of the month preceding the month in which the CA Final exam is scheduled
- Example: If appearing for CA Final in May 2023, AICITSS must be completed by 30th April 2023

4. Registration Process:
- Register on ICAI's SSP portal (ssp.icai.org) → Students → AICITSS registration
- Batches are conducted by ICAI-empanelled institutions across cities
- Complete both components — IT and MCS — separately

5. For Old Course Students Converting to New Course:
- If converting from old to new CA curriculum, AICITSS is required under the new course
- Old course ITT and GMCS do not substitute AICITSS

6. Exam Requirement: There is an examination/assessment at the end of AICITSS — passing is mandatory. Keep the completion certificate safe as it is required for Final exam form submission.
