After paying tax recieved notice

I paid tax with 100%penalty with interest by cash ledger through Drc03
after paying this I received online notice within 10 minute so I went to department then mr. officer told me I don't know about further action,and he told me go for appeal.so I done appeal but still liabilities shown in gst site.
what to do next ,so many time I called to department and also I done payment. I am a honest taxpayer feeling very sad about this things
