Hello to One and all:

This is Venkat, i am currently doing my IPCC in which i am going to write in Nov-2012. I has a doubt regarding my career. That is

1. I am 24 YRS Old

2.I am Currently pursuing IPCC and B.com

3.I left my full time Job recently and wanted to finish CA.

3.I did my HSC(+2) in 2004.

4.There is a big gap between my Studies as you can see that now i am doing IPCC.

5.Is this gap will be in trouble to get a job after i finished my CA

6.Proposed time that i will write and finish final will be 2015 privided that have to clear IPCC & FINAL in one go.

7.I am practical in life, willing to study 10 HRS a day, work hard, aiming to be good professional, Knows technical analysis, having experiece in the field of stock market over 6 YRS.

Venkat., bahut kaam hai market me., once u clear CA there r lot many options for you.., both, in job as well as in practising...

So relax, age is not going to b biggest drawback for you to earn in future., may be, at that age, you will find it difficult to get a good job.. but at the same time, you will have the benefit of experience in practical life which youngsters would not be having, you can take advantage of that..

I'm also in same situation and would welcome any suggestion.

I was more interested in a career in management but then started studying more about accounting and thought to make a career in chartered accountancy. I gave CPT in December but missed it by 3 marks. I'll be giving CPT again in June this year along with CS Executive. I would have cleared Bcom by then.

I had to miss TWO years of my school bcoz of medical issues and I'll turn 24 later this year. If I complete CA IPCC and Final in first attempt, I'll be 27. Won't it be too old to start a career ?

you need to enhance your skill by doing some shrot term international certifications in finance like the Chartered Wealth Management Designation program from American Academy of Financial Management.

i think you will show more commitment or rather the right commitment towards the goal....cos at this age and with an experience you become better in terms of responsibility.....many student lacks it....
