hi all,
i cleared pcc in june'09. i just want to know from ca final students or those who are already CA's as to how far it is possible to study without classes. I took classes for pcc but not too keen this time. are the concepts so difficult that explanation is absolutely essential? Please share your experience with me as also reference books used and study pattern followed. Also,if classes needed, it is essential for which subjects?

Classes are not compulsory at all. Self study is best if you have sufficient time in your attempt. But, I will suggest you to go for ICAI classes with self study. It will not kill your time much, as well as you can get your doubts and problems cleared by the faculty. ICAI faculty is good and it can be a good support for students who prepares with self study. I used the same approach in my CA finals, and took classes only for MAFA. Nothing else. All the best.
Attend classes for all practical subjects....it wil be highly beneficial...............
