Advantage of old ca final

I am registered under Final Old scheme. I almost dropped CA after not clearing even a single paper of Final. But now as I am thinking of taking it again in May 19. I am confused between Old and New. Even in old course my preparation is not good. I heard that Old scheme will be advantageous since ICAI will try to clear old batch easily. So is it right to think that way?
