Advanced financial accounting -reference book??

The best is study material + practice manuals issued by the institute + Tulsian Financial Reporting Book for CA Final. The book might be for CA students, but it explains some portions of our syllabus like consolidation/amalgamation and corporate restructure/EVA/Human Resource accounting  and some more in a user friendly manner and also is very descripttive and even the complicated problems can be understood conceptually. It might be concluded this is the best book so far for financial reporting. For accounting standards- you may use D.S.Rawat which every one says is the best. However I am using Accounting standards for CA Final by Phaduka and find it really nice since it contains numerous practical illustrations and each concept can be well digested.
