I want to know in which cases the advance tax payable. Can any body help on this.

In generally advance tax required if Tax Liability exceeding 10k then Assessee will pay advance tax...

What is your range of income and what type
Estimated tax liability as reduced by TDS amount, if in excess of 10000 then you have to pay advance tax in 4 instalments during FY as per prescribed percentage
