As per Rule 6(4A) of Service Tax Rules 1994, you can adjust excess amount paid in succeding month or quarter Literal meaning if above rule, restrict you to adjust such excess payment after a month or quarter. But pls note, Govt can't hold a amount which does not belongs to it. Therefore, you can utilise it now.
