adjournment
What if general meeting was adjourned because of any reason other than lack of quorum, and in adjourned meeting there is lack of quorum? Can that adjourned meeting be adjourned again?

yes it can adjoined again because of lack of quorum
If meeting was called on requisition of members(EGM) then it will be cancelled bcoz EGM shall not stand adjourn due to lack of quorum but if the meeting was AGM then it can be adjourned once due to lack of quorum and 2nd time can not be adjourned so AGM in that case will be conducted.
law says that if at adjourned meeting quorum is not present then members personally present ( In person or by authorised representative : & Not by proxy) not less than shall be considered as quorum... However if this condition not complied then Chairman can again adjourned meeting again or sine die. Normally director also have shareholding in company so 2 director cum shareholder in this case become quorum.
