Adjourned Meeting

There is no requirement to pass a Board Resolution wherein the meeting is declared as adjourned.

However, when the meeting is adjourned, the same is to be conducted at the same venue on same day and time in the next week. Where the place, day or time of the meeting is changed, the notice in this regards is to be provided to the members for intimating about the same. Hence, no Resolution is required to be passed in the Board Meeting in this regards.

The adjournment takes place before the commencement of meeting therefore, you cannot hold Board meeting and decide for adjournment. the adjourned meeting is deciced to be held at the time of meeting or as per law. Accordinlgy it is to be held same day and time in the next week.
