Addition of new Premises

Dear all,

Our company has registered office in delhi and the same is registered with ST deptt. Now , we will be providing services from our mumbai office as well though the billing will be done from Delhi office.My query is?

1.Do we need to amend ST-1 and go for centralised registration?

2.If yes, what all additional documents are required to be submitted?

Also ,in case we have decentralised billing do we need a seperate registration for mumbai office and where to apply in that case ?

You are providing service from Mumbai but the billing will be done from delhi office than you need to register separately …..

But I think centralized registration is quite good than this because you have to file only one Service tax return …

- submit the ST registration for inclusion of new premises, alongwith bonafide existance of 2nd unit, viz address proof, PAN card xerox and trade licence. R/O will endorse the same on registration certificate. 

2.If yes, what all additional documents are required to be submitted?

Also ,in case we have decentralised billing do we need a seperate registration for mumbai office and where to apply in that case ?

 - Simply u can get a registration from mumbai Servicetax department, by applying and getting a new service tax number but submit your 1st registration for reference as the 2nd registration will appear as ABCDE1234XST002.
