LENGHTY AND MOSTLY UNEXPECTED QUESTIONS CAME,, ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING RECEND AMENDMENTS REGARDING COMAPNY WAS NOT ASKED AND ALSO 16 MARKS QUESTIONS WAS WITH BIG ADJUSTMENTS FOR WHICH 3 HOURS IS NOT ENOUGH..
IT WAS TOUGH FOR ME :(

it was really unexpected.. adjustments were quite tough .. very very lengthy .. disappointed:(
Partnership and amalgamation
Did not move for even a single second for 3 hours and even then could not complete the paper. Unexpected, lengthy and confusing questions. The auestions were ok type. Institute could have thought once at-least before putting too many adjustments.
I m requesting to that person who set the paper to solve it within 3 hours...
I thnk he also couldn't solve it
The paper was easy but very lengthy. It had 3 questions of 16 marks each with lots of adjustments. One of Amalgamation which was similar to RTP question. One was partnership of retirement + admission which was easy but lengthy and there was no time. The last one was of Single entry which was also easy but lengthy.
IF I HAVE TAKEN A WRONG SALES FIGURE AND HAVE DERIVE THE BALANCES OF TRADE RECEIVABLES , BANK AND TRADE PAYABLE BASED ON SUCH FIGURE ... WILL WHOLE MARKS CARRYING 16 MARKS SHALL BE DEDUCTED ... HOW MUCH MARKS SHALL BE DEDUCTED FOR IT ??? MY BALANCE SHEET MATCH AND OTHER TRANSACTION WERE RIGHT..
Lengthy paper..very tough n big adjustments...:(
