ACCOUNT KEEPING IN GST

Do we need to keep book of accounts for business with annual turnover upto 50 lakh?
What is the limit?

Yes book keeping in GST is compulsory.As per the GST law every registered taxable person required to keep and maintain books of account or other records will maintain the books for at least 60 months, counted from the last date of filing of Annual Return.e Sept of following year.

in GST we have ledgers and all other data online and uploaded then do small business owners really need expensive accountants with them? or do they need simply keep the invoices and tax payment details as many of them can't afford the expense. can they consult an accountant for yearly accounting processes?
