Account blocked , how to retrieve the password ?

Hi Friends,

My Service tax account is showing as blocked when I am trying to log in to file the return.I dont know the answer to security question as well, as earlier I used to get the Service tax Return filed through a Chartered Accountant's office .But from past two years, I am doing it myself.

Now the problem is that, the accounts is blocked, Security question and answer is not there, and e -mail id in registration certificate is also not under my control.

Please provide a solution for this problem as I have to file the return and due date shall be approaching very soon.

No, as I have already mentioned that I donot have answer to the security question.

The file you provided is useful when you know the answer to the security question.

In that case you can contact your range officer for assistance and unblocking your account.

Agree, contact the appropriate officer only he can solve this as you have no proof to show that accounts actually belongs to you as all mediums are unaccessible now.

Thank you everyone.

The problem is resolved.Today I contacted the range office with written signed application for password request to a new e-mail ID.They accepted it and sent the mail to the new email address.After that I created new password and security question.
