Hi,

If youre applying, you will be applying for 'ACCA Qualification'.

ACCA has 9 Fundamental Papers(F1-F9) and 5 Professional Papers.

As far as I know, you will also have to write the 5 Professional only.

PROFESSIONAL (FIVE PAPERS IN TOTAL)

Compulsory
P1 Governance, Risk and Ethics
P2 Corporate Reporting
P3 Business Analysis
Options (two to be completed)
P4 Advanced Financial Management
P5 Advanced Performance Management
P6 Advanced Taxation
P7 Advanced Audit and Assurance

These links will be helpful for you to apply.

Instructions on applying to ACCA -

Application (preferably online) -

https://portal.accaglobal.com/irxweb/bespokeredirect/faces/page/public/irx/IRXCreateAccount.jspx?qualification=ACCA_QUAL&country=IN

Its not necessary to finish application in one go, you can apply and save form and come back and fill it later, same goes for uploading documents.

Fee Structure-

https://www.accaglobal.com/an/en/qualifications/accountancy-career/fees/fees-charges.H T M L?countrycode=India

So, as far as fees are concerned, you will have to pay Registration Fees and  Exam Fees which is £112-£116 per Professional Paper and also Exemption fee for F1,2,3 = £72 per paper and F4,5,6,7,8,9 = £93 per paper.

So if you clear all in one go it will total to = 79+ (116x5)+ (72x3)+ (93x6) = £1435 appx ie. Rs 135000 appx

Exemptions-

https://portal.accaglobal.com/accrweb/faces/page/public/accreditations/enquiry/awards/EnqAwardsTable.jspx?_afPfm=kz7zt4py1

The basis for exemptions is that you need to pass in individual paper, not necessary all in same attempt.

You can find the routing in the email attached.

PAPER BY PAPER EXEMPTION PART IS APPLICABLE FOT THOSE WHO HAVE NOT YET COMPLETED CA FINALS & WANT TO ENTER IN ACCA

Good Info. Highly Appreciated.  I am looking forward to pursue either ACCA or CIMA after completion of CA.

Which one is better to pursue CIMA or ACCA ?

Do you cost of CIMA ?

both are different t
I.e one is totally from costing side and the other from from accounting side .

looking towards the option give by you and the recognition in industry

CIMA is better than ACCA and know by people and industry as a whole.
can I claim exemption later on?
I.e after registration and giving professional exams till then I can complete my CA also
I had the same question to institute but it is not possible you have to pay the fees for claiming exemptions then only you can appear for exams

Hi chirag.. Thanks for the post regarding ACCA. All my doubts are cleared now. I would just want to know if you have appreared for any papers and what is the difficulty level of the course ? Do people clear in single attempt.? Actually i have also registered for the course but before putting this much huge amount of money wanted to confirm is it worth doing ? I am a ca finalist and cleared on paper on paper basis.

hi Madhu even I am a ca finalist and have got 7 exemptions
hi Madhu even I am a ca finalist and have got 7 exemptions and will be applying for 2 papers of p series in September .

difficulty level is good but looking to CA results where there is 3% and here in AcCA it is 33% .

as we study in CA even 50% of that will do to clear ACCA exams .

lastly , In single attempt you cannot give more than 4 papers .

so it will take 2-3 attempts for completing ACCA . ( Max within 1 year it can be completed )

hope I cleared all your doubts .

and it is worth doing acca (UK recognized and valuable if you want to work with big 4 , Investment banks and in gulf , UK )

Thanks dear. Are you a CA student as well ? I have cleared all papers of ca final in one or more attempts but not in aggregate ..so am i eligible to 9 paper exemptions or 7 paper exemption as you mentioned ???

you are eligible for 9 exemptions so you have to claim them . I have attached the format for claiming expemptions . do refer that ... will be helpful ..
