Academic Equivalence of CA

For HSMP to UK, they are asking what is the academic equivalence of CA . Whether it is masters degree or under graduate degree.

Is there any thing given by CA institute in their website in this regard.

Please through some light on this.

It is equivalent to postGraduate Degree.

Although nothing officially provided about equivalence of CA membership of ICAI.In the indian context it must be equivalent to Post-graduate degree as a CA have much extensive knowledge in every aspect of a PG course provided by any Indian University.

72 Universities in India and IIMs have recognised the CA qualification as post-graduate diploma for admission into their PHD programs.. as Institute is not an University, it cant accord a degree on paper..

CA is its self equivalent to under graduate as well as post graduate degree. however Institute is attempting to giving M.Com degree having MOU with IGNOU.
