About TDS Challan

01. request application submit in depository bank for correction in your tan number with new fresh challan

02. request application copy with wrongly deposit challan copy send nsdl & income tax dept. with your allotment TAN no. letter.

You have to contact NSDL alongwith proof of payment made and they will guide through rest of the process.

As you told that you have submiited the TDS in wrong TAN no. As untill you submit the quarterly return of such month , till you or other person n whose favour you deposited the TDS, can't  take the credit of TDS. So just contact to bank so that they can correct on challan. Hope you ahve no doubts........

you should write the rectification letter   2 your bank  along with necessary details

it is ver yeasy process do not worry

 other person cannot take benefit for the tds amount so no need to worry but you should contact to bank for the wrong tan no mentioned in deposit of tax with written letter along with all supporting document of payment. then you may get the certificate from bank
