about HSN code
sir I opt for composition dealer .in registration under gst they ask for HSN code for at least one product what to do when my turnover is less than 5L please tell me what to do

in the above replace 5L by 50L
Yes...... for new registration at least one HSN code, in which you deal mainly, is to be provided........
sir if put HSN code do I have to pay additional tax
HSN cod wish needed only when turnover is above 1.5c when my turnover is not so and I opt for composition dealer why r they asking me to mention in gst registration process. what should I do .help me please

No.......... Not at all.
It only indicates the catagory of the dealer..... ot type of supply he does.....
For registration it is mandatory......... for billing it may not be necessary....
sir. HSN code is 2,4,8 digit depending upon turnover how to check in what digit I need to indicate my product for registration.
HSN for cashew nut
You can provide first four digits........
E.G :: 0801::: For cashew nut kernel, whole or broken
