what book covers Auditing and Accounting standards comprehensively? Is guidance notes also covered in those books?

Offcourse Not....
GN are not covered in AS and AAS (except few GNs like in AS-15 for ESOPs)
Otherwise you have to refer it separately....
And for detailed understanding of AS & AAS, for which u call it "comprehensively", There are fer ref books.. of which I prefer DS Rawat for both..
