Aam Aadmi Budget?? I dont think so...

As the FM pointed out in his budget speech, this budget belongs to the "aam aadmi". But how can it be beneficial for the lower income group persons who stand at loss-loss situation?
Rather by relaxing the slabs he has given relaxation to the higher income group persons.
Probably I presume there was a typo in his speech...:P
FM should have declared this budget belongs to "superior aadmi"!!!

Yes Deepak - i do agree with you.

lot of people in the country are earning even less than the basic exemtion limit ,

prices of basic necessities are rising heavily - do govt will left anything for lower income group to eat??????/

what benefit they will get from this budget?????

I DONT KNOW WHY THEY ARE NOT TAKING STEP TO CONTROL GOVT EXPENDITURE

Definitely friends.......you are right........

I don't think that it is a good budget for lower income people......

Prices of necessities rising - rising- rising---non stop...

The Govt. Should take some measures to control them.....

Moreover They call this ....what???? Aam Aadmi?????? welll........

because they are also part of it

@ Ameet....

Bro govt expenditure are of the nature which cannot be limited to a specific limit considering the present circumstances.
But what can be done is OFF-SETTING those expenses with the corresponding INCREASE in the revenue collection mechanism of the Govt.

  •  The 6Th Pay Commission already ate up most of the expenditure incurred
  • Stimulus package given had been the most important factor in contributing to the increasing expenses.

But such OFF-SET shouldn't be done at the expense of lower income group people. Rather one should target the revenue collection from the ones who were given the stimulus priveleges(Read biz class people...who anyway have 1000 of ways to avoid taxes)....

So infact if Govt does more expenditure at development areas , then its good for economy..Hope i am clear in my intentions..

Dear Deepak....

if Govt does more expenditure at development areas , then its good for economy.....

But is it really happening?????

@ Balaji....

My dear frnd...that's exactly whr i m driving d point....all wasteful expenditure in the name of NIL Development...

Such is the irony...without any favourable slab (read cash residue) they want us to deposit (read cash outflow) 20000 bucks for the development which they should be doing on there part.....huh...Shocking

it is not really happening bcoz - noone is worried about economy or country or etc.....

they just know how to fill up their pockets till next election comes.............

Excatly friend Meeta.......

They will try not try ........they will definitely fill their pockets....before the next election comes........

Who cares country???

I beg to differ on this view.....c d economy is on a rebound and all they want is to encash it....though through some not so hard, not so sweet treatments....i don't think  pranab da can be so self minded to ignore people's plight...

it seems our FM has given a new definition to AAM AADMI.. ... if u make the calculations ... the people who r really going to benefit from the hike in exemption limit are the people who are going to earn a minimum of 300000(after allowing 80c deduction) ....n as the UPA nd corporate houses define they r our aam aadmi ... bt the one who earns less than 3 lakh ..they pay the tax as before .. also they face the hike in basic commodities..
