I was about to file income tax return, but there was a mismatch in DOB between PAN and Aadhar, so couldn't link it.
So Can I file my IT return without linking with Aadhar for AY 2017-18? or is it mandatory?

DOB is not a matter for linking PAN and AADHAAR....

aadhar and pan card is not linking
how could we submit the returns
how could I submit my it returns without linking my aadhar card. I tried lot but could not able to link the aadhar with pan. as it is telling aadhar is not verified. kindly help me
I think, Upto 31st July it's not mandatory.....

As from 1 july 2017 aadhaar is mandatory for filing of itr
But if aadhaar isn't linking with pan
Go for aadhaar updation or pan updation for linking as per your requirement.
It is recommended to go for aadhaar update as it take less time
And also when your update application submitted as per PAN, that enrolment no. will

Enrolment no. of updated aadhar can also be filled for filing of ITR as aadhaar applied.
