Aadhar pan link issue
Paid 1000 rs late fees for aadhar pan link however need to make some correction in aadhar pan both relating to Date of birth.... Hence may be able to link after 31.03.2023. Since already paid 1000 rs still penalty of 10000 will attract or not???

If the PAN Card and the Aadhaar Card are not linked, you may be subject to a penalty of up to Rs. 10,000 according to the Income Tax Act. In addition, if the two cards are not linked by March 31, 2023, your PAN Card may become inoperable.
In such case the advance payment of Rs. 1000/- will not save you from the penalty, if at all being charged.
Adhaar pan link can be easily done.
The date to link Aadhar with PAN has been extended to 30.06.2023.
