AADHAR LINK PAYMENT MADE UNDER WRONG AY

I have made the payment of aadhar link fee under the payment head 500 but wrongly chose the AY as 2024-25.
would it be manageable for linking the aadhar with pan?

Quick Summary
A user mistakenly paid their Aadhaar link fee under the wrong Assessment Year (AY 2024-25 instead of the correct one). They are concerned if this error will impact their Aadhaar-PAN linking. Other users confirmed that the payment head is more important than the AY, as the fee isn't year-specific. While some suggested watching specific videos for guidance, the consensus is that the error is unlikely to cause significant issues for the linking process.

In my view it will not make any difference . because govt want just collection. and PAN Aadhar linking fees is not year specific.

so dont worry and proceed further
