Give answer to query and don't post stories..
Check whether it is linked or not on IT portal. If not then you have to pay penalty
If PAN itself applying for the first time then how can govt expect penalty ?
Linking is compulsory and you applied for new PAn not link pan with aadhar. However check it on portal , it definately shown as linked.
We can't reply assuming when you apply for new PAN. Just better to check once.
