It is not done so as all the banks have not started accepting it, and Aadhar has not been launched in such a way that it reaches masses at phase I.

It will take some time to consolidate all the data into one and then use it from Central server system.

Thanks. But, I think it will take many years before it will reach masses. In fact I know many people have a feeling that it is not much useful and that is why they are not trying to even get it. So, to convince many people that it is useful, banks & utility companies should start accepting it & that will increase feeling that it is a very useful card.

It will take years for sure, and once it's done it will be really useful.

Their will be no better alternative than this.

This will be used for knowing whether we the citizens have received the fund which was sent to us by the Central Govt or state Govt.

All driving related issues, passport related, voting related etc.. Everything will be consolidated at one place so it will save a lot of time and extra space which is consumed now.

It will avoid duplication of data basically.

Thanks. Did PAN card also take that long for acceptance by banks? In my opinion they must start accepting it unless there is some logical reason for not accepting it it which I am not aware of many others may also not be aware of. Best regards, RAKESH
