A marvellous answer
A mechanic was removing the cylinder heads from the motor of a car when
he spotted the famous heart surgeon in his shop, who was standing off to
the side, waiting for the service manager to come to take a look at his
car.
The mechanic shouted across the garage," Hello Doctor!! Please come over
here for a minute."
The famous surgeon, a bit surprised, walked over to the mechanic.
The mechanic straightened up, wiped his hands on a rag and asked
argumentatively, "So doctor, look at this. I also open hearts, take
valves out, grind 'em, put in new parts, and when I finish this will
work as a new one... So how come you get the big money, when you and me
is doing basically the same work? "
The doctor leaned over and whispered to the mechanic.....

Doctor said : " Try to do it when the Engine is RUNNING "

Some observations:
(Primafacie, a good joke;I admit, but in support of the medical Doctor)
1. To this the mechanic should have told, "Try doing what Im doing with your patients, let me see.In other words, switch-off their engine, repair their parts and then replace them back and make it running."And this time the Doctor would be flabbergasted,am sure!
2. Also, many mechanics, switch-on the engine and work, test the speed of rotary blades, etc. So guess the Doctor does not know about car-mechanics much nor does the mechanic know how to communicate...Or the joke's punchline is incomplete.
In anycase, the mechanic has a point.Every professional must be respected. In our country we tend to focus just on a few professions and elevate them in our minds--Doctors,Engineers,etc.And renegade the rest to the back-seat.There should be dignity of labour shown to all professions and no profession is greater than the other.Medical profession,no doubt saves lives;but bereft of an ambulance--which needs many mechanical parts to run, many a life would not have been saved.
Just my thoughts.Keep rocking!
