A help for i p c c or p c c students

sir, i will be appearing for my ipcc exams in nov, 2011. can u please suggest me about how to go about for my IT studies and how should we approach the case studies questions of SM? also how can we score maximum marks in theory questions of tax, costing and fm.

Hi, i am PCC student. I didnt cleared this time too. Last s my fourth attempt. And i wrote second group only. I got exemption in Tax. Comin Nov 2011 is last chance to use my income tax paper exemption. Should i go next attempt or write first group or second group or both groups. I need urs comments. IT SM papers is not have a commerce back ground. If you can mange for ICAI materials that is more than enough. If you find troubles with Module then opt for Dinesh Madan or Padhuka reference book.

As far as case laws of SM is concerned, Refer your suggested answers and see how it was presented there. Normally a case of question may be  presented in Following way

For Taxation, you have a good conceptual crux on Five head of Income, Good exposure with VAT and ST. Cost and FM require a conceptual understanding.. Try to solve questions without refering solution...

First of all, Never put a pressure on your last attempt. If you can able to write both group that is good. If you writing both group , give more focus on group one. 

Try hard. See which papers you have scored least mark in the previous attempt and  work hard for that...

First and foremost thing , learning theory subject is comparitatively easy, But remebering it and presenting the same to exam is really a challenge...

IT and SM

It is a paper which does not have any commercial back ground. make a habbit of writing notes first. Try to understand the concepts clearly and write a key point.

If you read the key point , then you can be able to revise quickly...

It is better to write mock test... This means each chapter is over.. Try to write mock exam.. Case studies of SM also be done with reference to past questions and answers....

Finally better exam presentation

It is not fair to write all unwanted points in exam. This is will surely create a negative impression in the mind of examiner.. Better Try to write precise point and hitting the points in the right point. 

Please avoid Copy and paste method , rather try to write these points in your own words and format... 

Audit papers

Audit and Accounts are inter linked so You must have a good base on AS and SA apart from audit Book... Apart from this, you must have a sound  knowledge of CARO aspect...

Now you focus on next  exam. Choose better choose a medium size firm so that you can better focus on study angle..

sir i heve applied for revaluation for my costing and fm paper on 10th august as iam sure that the marks given was not correct but i have to appear for ipcc nov 11 for the second group as i have only given ipcc gr 1 in may and the examination registration form last date is august 30 please guide me should i fill both group or revaluation result will declare before 30th august.

It is better to apply for both group rather than waiting for both group.

If your result is adverse on recounting you have to write

Reason 2

Your result positive but Recounting results declares after filling exam application form....

i am getting IPCC may 2011 results as a/c -41, Auditing - 51, Info tech -35. whether apply for revaluation any chance to get exemption in auditing. how prepare for group 1 and give me suggestion subjectswise and tell me the important  chapters.
