Dear friends,
I would like to know who will get deduction(parent or son) u/s 80G if donation is made by parent's bank but receipt is made in Major son's name.

Receipt is the prima facie evidence as to the payment but the real evidence of payment is the entries as appearing in the bank pass book. If asked it can be proved that the payment has infact been made by the parent.
Had it been the case of cash payment then it would be difficult to prove as to who is the real payer, in that case I would go by receipt
