Dear CA team,
in my company I have opted for new regime. if I have done a 80G donations ,(entitled to 50% deduction without the qualifying limit) , I have few questions ,
1. Can I claim 80G deduction while filing the ITR as the company will not consider 80G while computing tax
2. is it allowed to select old regime while filing the tax returns while the company has computer tax using the new regime ?

Only Standard deduction of Rs. 50 k allowed in New Tax Regime.
No additional deduction can be made under New Tax Regime.
Old Tax Regime can be selected while filing ITR
